Mini–Fuß-Pumpe
Inflating tyres or other objects
1. Select the correct valve connector, with adapter as necessary
(see "Selecting the correct adapter")
2. Press the ON button to switch on the pressure gauge
3. Repeatedly press the ON button until the readout shows the unit of measure of
your choice.
4. Push the valve head onto the valve and flick the lever up to seal the
connection (see illustration)
5. Flip the retainer down and place the pump on the ground.
6. Use your foot to operate the pump until the reading on the pressure gauge
shows that the desired pressure has been reached.
7. Break the seal by pushing the lever on the valve head toward the pump hose,
disconnect the valve head from the valve and if applicable, remove and stow
the adapter.
Selecting a range
The compact foot pump can be used in either of two operating
modes:
1. The high-volume range (pedal "down") is suitable for rapid
inflation. This is the range you should use for most
applications.
2. The high-pressure range (pedal "up") is used to apply
pressures up to 12 bar. Use this range to adjust the
pressure in the pneumatic-suspension elements of
bicycles and motorcycles. Always refer to the appropriate
documentation for the vehicle in question.
Changing the battery
The display shows a warning symbol when the battery is weak and has to be
changed.
Use a coin to open the battery-compartment cover and remove the battery.
Insert a new battery (CR2032).
Make sure that the battery is dry and free of grease and take care not to make any
connection across the battery poles while installing the battery.
Close the cover of the battery compartment.
Press the ON button and hold it down until the display shows "StA".
