Preset 9 (LaunchPadEmulator):
Our Novation LaunchPad Emulator for QuNeo consists of an Ableton Live Remote Control
Surface map created with Python. This allows you to use all of the familiar features that the
LaunchPad provides on QuNeo. The image and corresponding text below summarizes what
the buttons and sliders of the QuNeo do in all modes. The Pads behavior is determined by
the selected mode. See the QuNeo_LaunchPad_Quickstart document (included in the
QuNeo Software Template Installer) for more information about the Pad behavior.
1. Transport controls -
The Record, Stop, and
Play buttons correspond
to the Transport
Controls within Live.
2. Tempo - LEFT ARROW
steps the tempo down
1.0 BPM. RIGHT
ARROW steps the
tempo up 1.0 BPM.
3. Metronome - Enables
Metronome On/Off.
4. MIDI Overdub -
Enables MIDI Overdub
On/Off.
5. Track Navigation -
Move left or right from
the current selected
track to the next or last
track.

Red Box Track Navigation - Move the location of the highlighted bounding box left or
right (this box may or may not be red).

Selected Track Send A - Control the selected track Send A.

Selected Track Send B - Control the selected track Send B.
9.
Selected Track Pan - Control the selected track Pan.
10.
Selected Track Volume - Control the selected track Volume.

Shift Button - Holding down the SHIFT (Rhombus) button enables you to access
various Modes from the Shift Page. When the SHIFT (Rhombus) button is released
it returns the controls to the currently selected MODE.

Volume Faders - This controls Live's first four volume faders within the highlighted
bounding box.
13.
Red Box Scene Navigation - Move the location of the highlighted bounding box up or
down (this box may or may not be red).
14.
Scene Navigation - Move up or down from the selected scene to the next within a
selected track.
15.
Crossfader - This controls Live's crossfader.
