The unit returns to factory settings when the Reset button is pressed. After you press the reset button, the Mask Key will be needed to restart the unit.

Turning OFF the Power Turn the vehicle ignition OFF. When the set time for removing the faceplate (page 24) lapses, the faceplate reverses and the control panel is hidden.

    Theft Deterrent Faceplate The faceplate of the unit can be detached and taken with you, helping to deter theft. Removing the Faceplate Turn the ignition OFF or press the [SRC] button for at least 1 second. The power turns OFF and the faceplate slides open. Holding the center part of the faceplate pull it out.

    RDS features #1 – 6 TI/VOL ADJ TI indicator PTY indicator Traffic Information Switching to traffic information automatically when a traffic bulletin starts even when you aren't listening to the radio. Press the [TI] button. Each time the button is pressed the Traffic Information function turns ON or OFF.

    Troubleshooting Guide What might seem to be a malfunction in your unit may just be the result of slight misoperation or miswiring. Before calling service, first check the following table for possible problems. General The power does not turn ON.01 The fuse has blown.
