Good day from the Netherlands, our 600 GDL probably has a malfunction. The voltage for the gas solenoid drops to 4,4 volts and this is not enough to keep the valve open. Is this a technical malfunction? What should the correct voltage be? Can this drop from 12 volt to 4,4 volt be bypassed so the valve remains open?
Thanks for your reply

Yes, a voltage drop from 12 volts to 4.4 volts on the BEP Marine 600 Series GDL is a technical malfunction. The 600-GDL is designed for 12V DC systems and requires 10–15V DC to operate correctly. The solenoid valve should receive 12.5 volts and must draw no more than 800mA to stay open.
