    Congratulations! You have purchased one of the finest TVs on the market. The goal of this manual is to guide you through setting up and operating your Toshiba TV as quickly as possible. Menu navigation instructions in this manual are based on using the remote control.

    (component video) inputs are color-coded in the same manner as the cables. NOTE REGARDING PICTURE QUALITY When connecting video equipment to your Toshiba TV: For GOOD picture quality: Use a standard yellow video cable. For BETTER picture quality: If your equipment has S-video output, use an S-video cable instead of a standard yellow video cable.

    Setting up your TV Learning about the menu system After you have installed the batteries and programmed the remote control, you will need to set some preferences on the TV using the menu system. You can access the menus using the buttons on your TV or remote control.
