OPERATION
LED FUNCTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGING
MODE
quick red blinks
NOTE: MAINTENANCE INFORMATION BEGINS ON PAGE 6 AFTER
LED
Plugged into AC power supply and ready to charge. No battery pack in-
Solid red
stalled.
Hot battery pack
When battery pack reaches cooled temperature, charger begins charge
mode.
Flashing red
Cold battery pack
When battery pack reaches warmed temperature, charger begins charge
mode.
Battery pack or charger error
• If the charger indicates Error, try to repeat the conditions a second time by
removing and reinstalling the battery pack. If the LED Error status repeats
Pattern of two
a second time, try charging a different battery.
• If a different battery charges normally, replace the pack that received the
Error and recycle the pack. (See your battery pack manual for instructions.)
• If a different battery also indicates Error, the charger should be replaced.
Flashing green Battery is being charged.
Solid green Battery charging is complete.
