Problem
The charging
screen does not
appear when the

connected to the
computer.
The computer does
not recognize the

gigabeat .

Resetting the gigabeat

If taking the corrective actions in the table above does not solve
your problem, try resetting the gigabeat
1 Press the Reset button on the side of the gigabeat
Use a pointed instrument such as a pen or paper clip to press
the Reset button. The gigabeat
values it had when you last turned it off. (The exception to this
are the date and time.)
2 Reset the date and time.
If this still does not resolve the problem, contact Warranty
Service for assistance.

Solution
Check the
connection
between the
USB cable and

Charge the

range.

the computer.
