Controlling Audio

Zone Control
You can select different sources for front and
rear positions in the vehicle.

Touch [Dual Zone] on the FAD / BAL /
Zone screen.
[Source]
You can switch the current source.

Set each source as follows.
[Zone Select]
Touch [Single Zone] to turn off the dual
zone function.
[Front Source], [Rear Source]
Select an audio source for each.
Rear Source;
"AV-IN"/"iPod"/"SD"/"USB"/"OFF"
[Rear VOL.]
Adjust the rear source volume.

NOTE
• When the rear source is switched, the audio
source that is output at the AV OUTPUT terminal
is also switched to the same source.
• When the dual zone function is set to on, the
following functions are not available.
– Output from the subwoofer
– Subwoofer Level/Bass Boost (P.81)
– Equalizer Control/Sound Effect/Listening
Position (P.76, 81, 77)
– Speaker Setup (P.75)
– Fader for Controlling General Audio
– High-resolution Sound Source File Playback
• When the dual zone is selected and audio source
other than "OFF" is selected as Rear Source, the
speaker system cannot be switched.
• You cannot select AV-IN if the Video input
terminal is used for camera.
Rear Source
• You cannot select iPod if it is connected via
Bluetooth or Apple CarPlay is connected.
• If you select iPod as the Front Source, you cannot
select USB or SD as the Rear Source.
• If you select USB as the Front Source, you cannot
select iPod or SD as the Rear Source.
• If you select SD as the Front Source, you cannot
select iPod or USB as the Rear Source.
• If you select HDMI as the Front Source, files with
sampling rates higher than 96 kHz in USB or SD
selected as the Rear Source are skipped.
• If you select Bluetooth audio, HD Radio, Wireless
Mirroring, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto as the
Front Source, you cannot select USB, SD or iPod as
the Rear Source.
