Adjusting the switching points

Adjustment of the switching point – preparations
CAUTION
Risk of accidents caused by live components
There are live components in the area of the electrical connections.
Ensure that the live connections in the GCLS are covered with a protection against
accidental contact and that no contact with the connections is possible.
To prepare the switching point adjustment, carry out the following steps:
1.
Carefully move the machine manually into the designated switch-off position of the GCLS.
2.
Switch the machine off and secure it against unintentional commissioning.
3.
Loosen the housing cover screws, and, if applicable, remove the GCLS housing cover.
CAUTION
Risk of accidents caused by live components
When in open condition, the inner area of the GCLS must be protected from dust and water.
Protection classes IP00 and IP20 must be used dust-free.
CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to rotating parts
To adjust the switching point, the machine must be switched on, proceed as described below:
Leave the movement area of the machine.
Start the switching point at a safe distance from the machine.
Switch the machine off and secure it from switching back on.
Carry out the adjustment of the switching point that was started.
Adjustment of the switching point - adjustment
To adjust the switching point, proceed as follows:
1.
Adjust the switching point with the adjustment worm (1)-(n+1) of the switching cam.

Adjust each switching cam.
3.
All adjustments must be looked at in an inspection round and
checked for functionality.
4.
Mount the housing cover of the GCLS, see section 6.7.
