Safety icons

If you are new to computers, or have not used a notebook
computer before, read through the first couple of chapters to
familiarize yourself with the components of the computer and

This manual contains safety instructions that must be
observed in order to avoid potential hazards that could result
in personal injuries, damage to your equipment, or loss of
data. These safety cautions have been classified according to
the seriousness of the risk, and the icons highlight these
instructions as follows:
DANGER
Danger indicates a hazardous situation, which will result in
death, serious personal injury, or substantial property damage
if the safety instruction is not observed.
Warning indicates a hazardous situation, which can result in
death, serious personal injury, or substantial property damage
if the safety instruction is not observed.
Caution indicates a hazardous situation, which will or can
cause minor personal injury or property damage if the safety
instruction is not observed.
Provides you with important but not hazard-related
information.
