1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

WARNING! Shock Hazard: Always switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the
electrical outlet before assembling, opening or emptying the dust container, or before
connecting/disconnecting the attachments.
CAUTION! Suction Hazard: This vacuum cleaner is a very powerful unit. Before plugging
the cord into the electrical outlet, make sure the switch is in the "off" position. Hold the
vacuum cleaner firmly when starting and in use.
When using the vacuum cleaner, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including
the following.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:

Read all instructions.

always fully extend the power cord before use.

children.

This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
10. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended
attachments.
11. do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
12. do not unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
13. do not pull or carry by the cord or the hose. do not use the cord or the hose as a handle,
close a door on the cord or the hose, or pull the cord or the hose around sharp edges or
corners. do not run the vacuum cleaner over the cord. Keep the cord away from heated
surfaces.
