3 INHALATION

3.1 Preparation

WARNING
Since the inhalation chamber of the VORTEX
closed, small particles can get into it, and may be breathed in
during inhaling (danger of choking). Therefore, make sure
there are no foreign bodies in the VORTEX
CAUTION
Before each use, inspect the VORTEX
any broken, misshapen or seriously discoloured parts. Please
also follow the instructions for assembly given below.
Damaged components and an incorrectly assembled holding
chamber can obstruct function and thus also impair treatment.
• Make sure that the valve (2a) is in the cor-
rect position (see also page 35).
• Remove the sealing cap on the MDI.
• Shake the MDI vigorously before
each use.
