TRAC-Guard shroud overview
The Supra
TRACcess
TRAC-Guard™ padlock is a Bluetooth
®
®
a flexible access management solution for remote site locations. The padlock can be mounted
to most interior or exterior locations, such as cabinets, gates, fences, hatches, and covers.
The TRAC-Guard shroud helps protect against bolt cutters and hacksaws.
The instructions in this manual are applicable to the use of a Supra TRACcess TRAC-Guard
padlock shroud. Supra is not responsible for replacing padlock components damaged or
destroyed during installation.
Recommended : Install shroud on flat surface in well-lit area before using TRAC-Guard
padlock in field. Be careful not to lose hex screw or pin.
Note : Shackle clearance with shroud reduced to 0.875 ±0.50 inches as per diagram
on page 3.
Installing the shroud
Shackle must be removed before shroud can be installed. Follow the below directions to remove shackle.
Remove shackle
1. Use the shackle removal tool to rotate the hex screw
counterclockwise until removed.
Release shackle, open padlock with eKEY
1. Turn on the padlock's Bluetooth by pressing the center of the cylinder's bottom and simultaneously rotating the cylinder either
clockwise or counterclockwise.
Note : A LED at the bottom of the cylinder will flash green after Bluetooth has been successfully activated.
2. Open TRACcess eKEY app and select Open Device.
3. Enter PIN and Access Code if needed.
4. Select Begin.
5. Wait for success message to appear, then rotate padlock cylinder clockwise until shackle releases.
6. To remove shackle from padlock body, you may need to open the padlock with eKEY a second time.
Note : If shackle spring pops out, reinsert spring into shackle opening directly above hex screw opening.

2. Tap or shake padlock until the pin that was held in place by the
hex screw drops out.
Note : The first time a pin is removed may require vigorous tapping
