2.2.8 Preparing a Fixed Disk Drive for Moving

Before moving the system unit or removing the fixed disk drive for
service, select Move the computer from the Main Menu on the Reference
Diskette. This parks the heads of the fixed disk drive to help prevent
damage to the drive.
Note: All SCSI fixed disk drives automatically position the read/write
heads in nondata areas when the system is powered-off.
