Using Hunter A2
Put the hearing protection over the ears and adjust the height so that the headband is comfortable on the head.
For optimal protection ensure that the cushions are in tight contact with the skin around the ears and not
disturbed by hair, glasses or other items.
Turn the volume knob clockwise to turn on the hearing protection. Adjust the volume to your desired level on
left & right side individually.
Turn off the hearing protection by turning the volume knob counter clockwise until it clicks on left & right side
individually.
Please Note
Turn off the hearing protection before placing and removing it from your head.
External audio input jack (3.5mm)
The product has, an external audio input jack (3.5mm), for connecting an external audio source such as a
communication radio. If the audio signal does not exceed 142 mVrms, the sound level inside the hearing
protector will not exceed 82 dB(A).
The external audio input jack (3.5mm) is connected to a loud speaker in the left cup as will work even if the
hearing protector is switched off or the battery is discharged or absent.
Please Note
It is normal to hear a faint click in the hearing protection when you press and release the transmit
button (PTT) on a communication radio.
Make sure that the communication radio antenna is more than 10cm from the hearing protection to
minimize disruptions.
Warning!
The output of the electrical audio circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the daily limit sound level.
Performance may deteriorate with battery usage. The typical period of continuous use that can be expected
from the hearing protection is 100 hours.
The output of the level-dependent circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the external sound level.
If the hearing protector not are adjusted to a good fit to over the ears or not will be regularly inspected the
protection afforded by the hearing protector will be severely impaired.
If hearing protection not always wear when there is a risk of exposure to hazardous noise the protection
afforded by the hearing protector will be severely impaired.
With the level-dependent function turned on the hearing protector is not suited for high continuous noise levels.

Important user information

Always wear hearing protection when there is risk of exposure to hazardous noise
That is important that the hearing protection are fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with
the instructions in this manual. Ensure that the cushions are in tight contact with the skin around the
ears and not disturbed by hair, glasses or other items to minimize acoustic leakage.
Hearing protection and cushions rings can deteriorate over time and should be regularly inspected so
that no cracks or sound leakage is present.
The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the hearing
protection.
Clean the hearing protection with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any harsh chemicals or solvent.
This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should

Do not immerse the hearing protection in water.
Use only the original cables that are suited for this hearing protection and your two-way radio.
Incorrect wiring can damage the two-way radio or hearing protection and invalidate the warranty.
Recommended storage conditions before and after use is +30°C to 0°C.
Do not store the hearing protection at temperatures exceeding +50°C or lower than -50°C.
Do not store the hearing protection in direct sun shine.
Remove the batteries when the hearing protector is stored for a longer period to avoid battery
leakage.
Under certain circumstances (for example in proximity to transmitting radio or mobile phone)
disturbances in the form of noise may occur. The disturbance is not permanent. This is normal for the
product.
This hearing protector is provided with level-dependent attenuation. Check correct operation before
use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer to the Hunter Sales I Stockholm AB for
advice and maintenance.
