Replacing the optical-drive interposer

Procedure

Steps
1. Align the screw holes on the optical-drive interposer with the screw holes on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the screws that secure the optical-drive interposer to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Connect the optical-drive interposer cable to the system board and the optical-drive interposer.
4. Insert the optical-drive interposer cable into the latch and press the latch down to secure the cable.
5. Close the latch that secures the optical-drive interposer cable to the system board.
6. Route the display cable through the routing guide and connect it to the system board.

Post-requisites

Steps
1. Replace the base cover.
