Things you might need
The items listed below are in addition to those shown on page 2 of the WaterUps
Installa�on Guide which is available from our website at www.waterups.com.au
Phillips head screwdriver

5. Important Note - Posi�on the 3
remaining long side panels with the
one with the hole for the overflow
pipe on the le� when looking at the
outside of the bed. Refer Figure 2.
It is also important to ensure that
the hole is posi�oned towards the
bo�om. Join these panels.
6. Join the end panels to the ver�cal
corner panels.
7. Join the long side panels without the
overflow pipe to the corner panels.
8. Once you have connected all the
panels to form the bed, �ghten all
nuts & bolts. This will make the walls
more rigid and the bed stronger.

8mm spanner or socket
a�achment for a power drill
Tightening all the nuts & bolts is quite
easy if you use a power drill with a
10mm socket a�achment or a spanner
and a phillips head screwdriver.
9. With the overflow hole posi�oned
towards the bo�om now, a�ach the
final side panel.
10. Tighten all the nuts and bolts.
11. A�ach the black plas�c strip to the
top of the bed.
12. Now ensure that the posi�on for
your bed is on a flat even surface
and that there are no sharp rocks or
other objects. To provide protec�on
for the reservoir liner, we suggest
placing GeoTex�le fabric or a sheet
of corflute under the base.
13. Refer video on the WaterUps
website for clipping the corner tabs.

14. Place the WaterUps
Liner insert in the base of the bed
so that the holes for the overflow
pipe match.
15. Insert the screw overflow pipe with
the rubber washer on the inside of
the bed.

purchase a 20L bag of perlite
to place in the wicks in your
WaterUps

bed. This will
ensure optimal long-term
wicking action

16. Refer Figures 3 and 4 to see how &
where the cable �es are a�ached.
Then a�ach the cable �es.
17. Take one of the WaterUps
cut out the circle for the inlet pipe
and insert it by aligning the 3 lugs at
the base of the pipe with the holes
in the cell.

QUICK TIP
It is important to place the reservoir
liner into the base of the Corro bed
and insert the overflow pipe BEFORE
adding the WaterUps
®
cells and
a�aching the cable �es.
18. You can now lay the cells into the
base of the liner.
19. Now fill the 4 wicks of each cell with
perlite and then add your po�ng
mix compost and plan.
