6. OPERATING THE MACHINE

6.1. Controls

The device is turned on with the main switch.
6.2. Configuration and set-up tasks
1. Close the drain tap.
2. Ensure that the electrical connections have been correctly installed.
3. Check whether the tank has been filled to the indicated filling level.

6.3. Emptying the basin
1. Turn off the device.
2. Open the drain tap under the basin. WARNING: place the appropriate collecting basin under the device or connect another type
of drain system!
3. Close the drain tap.
6.4. Fault identification and troubleshooting

6.5. Personal protective equipment
When using cleaning materials, wear appropriate protective clothing (e.g. protective goggles, gloves, aprons).

7. MAINTENANCE / CLEANING

7.1. Inspection

After 12 months at latest, an inspection of the device should be carried out by a qualified person from IBS Scherer GmbH or the authorised
dealer in accordance with TRBS 1203.
The verification of the IBS-Parts Cleaning Device as "stationary" or "portable" electrical devices must be carried out by the operator.

7.2. Maintenance tasks

Depending on the intended use, period of use and the degree of soiling, the cleaning material must be replaced. In doing so, the device
must be disconnected from power and it must be ensured that the tank is completely empty. The device should be cleaned regularly. The
following checks are constantly recommended:
Fill-level check
Cleanliness
Concentration of cleaning material
In addition, it is recommended to inspect and clean the tank every time you change the fluid. The float switch of the level monitoring should
also be cleaned regularly.
