Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting the plug to a power source or carrying the tool. 2. Check power tool for damaged parts. Check for misalignment of moving parts, jamming, breakage, improper mounting, or any other conditions that may affect the tool’s operation.

    SPECIFIC RULES FOR SCREWDRIVERS 1. Hold the screwdriver only by the insulated gripping surfaces during operation. Fasteners that contact hidden wir- ing may make the exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could electrically shock the operator. Store the screwdriver and charger indoors in dry condition. Do not expose the screwdriver or the charger to temperatures over 104°F (40°C).

    OPERATION WARNING: To avoid personal injury and damage to the tool, do not attempt to operate the tool until the following operation instructions have been fully read and understood.
