Press the REC PAUSE button to pause a recording in

resume recording.

You can switch channels by pressing the
buttons while recording is pauses.
Using the Timer Programming Feature
Press the MENU button.
Press the .../† buttons
DVD-RAM(VR)
to select Programme
and then press the
OK or √ button.
MOVE
Press the .../† buttons to select Standard Timer, and then
press the OK button.
Press the .../† buttons to select scheduled Record list, and
then press the √ or OK button.

Set timer recording option.
G The Timer Programming screen is displayed. Fill the input
items using the arrow buttons.
➛❿: Moves to the previous/next item,
❷: Sets a value.
G TO : Select the media to record DVD or VCR.
G PR : The video input source (AV1 or AV2), or the broadcasting
channel you want to make a timer recording from.
G Day : Set the recording day.
G Start/End Time : Start and end time of the timer programming.
G Recording Speed : Recording speed
G VPS : Video Programme System.
G PDC : Programme Delivery Control.
Press the OK button.
Turn the power off to finish the timer recording.
Timer programming will not work when the power is on.

Finalising a Disc

After you record titles onto a DVD-RW/DVD-R disc with your
DVD Recorder-VCR, it needs to be finalised be played back on
external devices.
Press the MENU button with the disc stopped.
Press the .../† buttons to
select Disc Manager,
and then press the OK
or √ button.
Press the .../† buttons to
select Disc Finalise, and
then press the OK or √
button.
You will be
prompted with the mes-
sage 'Do you want to
finalise disc?'. If you
select Yes, you will be
prompted again with
the message 'Disc will
be finalised. Do you
want to continue?'.
Press the œ/√ buttons to select Yes, and then press the OK
button.
The disc is finalised.
Once a disc is finalised, you cannot delete entries from the
record list.

After being finalised, the DVD-R operates in the same
manner as a regular DVD-Video.

Depending on the kind of disc, the displayed screen may
be slightly different.
I
Finalising will be taken few minutes. If you turn the unit
on/off or open the tray during finalising, you will not be
able to use the disc anymore.
