Use the Manual IP/DNS configuration when connecting your product to a network
that requires a static IP address.
To set up the Network manually use the following steps:
1. Connect your product to your LAN.
2. Press the MENU button (

3. Set IP Configuration to [Manual].
4. Enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS Server values. Use the number buttons
on your remote control to enter numbers and Navigation buttons to move from one entry field
to another.
5. Select the OK button (
6. A pop-up will appear to let you know if the IP configuration was a success or if it failed.
Software upgrade
Software upgrade allows you to update the system software to maintain the highest
performance of the product.
When recording is in progress you cannot use this functionality.
To update software, follow these steps:
[Automatic Update]
1. Select [Auto] and select the [Search] button and press the OK button (

2. When new software is detected, download the software immediately.
3. If there is no new software to upgrade, a popup will appear.
[Manual Update]
1. Select [Manual] using the Navigation buttons on the remote control.
2. Select the appropriate values for Satellite, Frequency, Transponder, Symbol Rate, Polarity, FEC,
Modulation and PID.
3. Select the [Search] button and press the OK button (
4. When new software is detected, download the software immediately.
5. If there is no new software to upgrade, a popup will appear.
