Static electricity can be conducted to the laser chip from the center pin of the RF input SMA connector, and through the DC connector pins. -

The 5016 A/B/C/D uses a high performance distributed feedback (DFB) laser with a built-in optical isolator. -

The error voltage drives an integrator, which supplies current to the T/E cooler (TEC). -
