Saddle adjustment:
The saddle should be high enough for your child to reach the ground with the whole foot but to still have its knees
bent at the same time. The handlebar should be high enough for the child to have it horizontal to its body. Make
sure that your child is sitting comfortably.
Check the saddle and handlebar position regularly.
Learning how to control the balance bike:
A child will learn relatively quickly how to control the balance bike. Make sure that the child is sitting on the
saddle and not on the frame!
Riding the balance bike:
Encourage your child to push on the ground using their feet. Remember to encourage them to look where they
are going, not at their feet. They will need to sit up and look straight ahead.
It helps to have someone up ahead to look at, as toddlers are distracted easily.
Do this many times and your child will naturally sit on the saddle and pick up speed.
Steering:
Once they have mastered lifting their feet, you can help them to steer the bike by getting them to lean and
turning the handlebars gently. Riding a balance bike stimulates the physical and mental development and
strengthens the back muscles.
Braking:
If they want to slow down just remind them to put their feet down. Make sure that your child is only going in such
speed to be able to brake safely.
Maintenance:
The balance bike has a sturdy construction and is made of durable high-quality materials.
The product should be wiped regularly with a dry soft cloth. To clean it from dirt, use protective cleaning agent.
The balance bike is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
