  • Page 5 Cable connections The Vertex 3 speaker is bi- amplified requiring two channels of amplifier to provide separate channels to drive the bass and the mid-treble separately using distinct filtered signal sources. This can be achieved either by feeding two power amplifier channels with separate filtered outputs from an outboard DSP crossover (like the Control DP 48), or by using an amplifier providing included channel DSP processing (like the DSP-Quattro 06).
