Care and maintenance
•
The helmet and its attachments can be cleaned by wiping them with a damp cloth.
Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals. A mild
disinfectant solution can be used.
•
Replace the foam insulation in the ear cups as and when required. Remove the old
foam insulation and replace it with new. The foam should be tucked in under
the edge of the cushion padding. The foam should lie flat or be a little concave in
the middle. The foam insulation should completely cover the inside of the ear cup.
•
Never try to replace parts of the ear defenders other than the foam insulation,
doing so could reduce their noise attenuation capability.
Storage
•
Store the helmet in its original packaging (in the plastic bag inside the box) at room
temperature (20±15 °C), dry and dust-free, when it is not in use.
Transport
•
The helmet should be packed in such a way as to protect it from contaminants
and damage. It should be transported in such a way that it is not subjected to
physical or chemical abuse.
•
It is recommended that the original box and plastic bag are used to transport
the helmet in.
Responsible disposal
The product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. If you are
unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.
