Activating the Watch

Your solar powered radio controlled watch is set into
standby mode by the factory. When you unpack the
watch, the hands of the watch point to the 12 o'clock
position and the display is switched off.
Press any key to exit the standby mode and to activate
the watch. The word "WAIT" appears on the display. The
watch adjusts the hands automatically to the current
time. This process can take up to several minutes (see
chapter "Standby Mode).

Notes on Recharging the Battery

The battery of the solar powered watch can be charged
via the solar panel on the face of the watch by direct
sunlight or by artificial light sources.
We recommend recharging the battery on a weekly
basis. Place the watch face up under a light source with
a low heat radiation (e.g. a fluorescent lamp). Or place
it next to a window in order to charge the battery by
direct sunlight.
If the battery has been recharged completely, it can run
for up to 5 months without recharging. However, the
following recharging process may take several days
dependin on how spent the battery is.
