Idler Switch Lever Idler Switch
efore measuring resistance, be sure to turn power off, and do voltage discharge.
(When discharging, contact the metal plug of power cord with earth line.)
Drum will not rotate; no fan will function; no heater will work.
Turn the dryer’s power off, then measure resistance.
Is resistance below 3 between Connector
L2 (White wire) and WH4 ( rown wire)?
Measure while door is closed.
Is resistance below 3 between Connector
L2(White wire) and WH4 (Yellow wire)?
Measure while door is closed.
Is resistance below 3 between Connector
WH4 (Yellow wire) and WH4 ( rown wire)?
Is resistance below 1 between terminals
of Outlet Thermostat attached to blower housing?
Does Idle Switch attached to Motor racket
operate Level by drum belt?
(Not operating Lever is normal.)
Is resistance below 1 between Idler Switch
terminals?
Check Motor. (Refer to Motor Diagram & Check)
