Phone Settings
Auto Light
(Menu 4.7.3)
Using this feature, you can specify the time for
which the backlight is to be used. This feature helps
conserve your battery power.
The following options are available.
Disable: the backlight is used according to the
setting in the Back Light menu option
(Menu 4.7.2); see page 89.
Enable: the backlight is used only during the
specified period during the day. Set the start and
end times in hours and minutes, using the
appropriate number keys.
Service Light
(Menu 4.7.4)
This option allows you to select whether or not the
service light on the folder cover is used and in
which colour it flashes.
Select one of the five colours available. When the
phone is ready for use, the service light will flash in
the appropriate colour.
If you do not wish to use the service light,
select Off.
Graphic Logo
(Menu 4.7.5)
This option allows you to display your operator's
logo instead of its name.
Off: the operator name is displayed in idle mode.
On: the operator logo stored in your phone is
displayed in idle mode; if no logo has been stored,
the operator name is displayed.

You can turn the automatic redialling or answering
features on or off.
To turn a feature... Then press the...
On
ON soft key.
A check mark is displayed
in front of the option.
Off
OFF soft key.
The check mark is no
longer displayed.
The following options are available.
Auto Redial: when this option is checked, the
phone makes up to ten attempts to redial a phone
number after an unsuccessful call.
Note: The interval between two call attempts varies.
Active Folder: when this option is checked, you
can simply open the phone to answer a call.
When it is unchecked, you must open the phone
and press a key, depending on the setting of the
Anykey Answer option (see below).
Anykey Answer: when this option is checked, you
can answer an incoming call by pressing any key,
except the
key and the Reject soft key. To
reject the call, press the
soft key.
When this option is unchecked, you can only press
the
key or the Accept soft key.
