Note: An outdoor sensor that has fallen into puddle, snow, or other standing water, will likely have water damage and needs to be replaced. Outdoor sensors are water resistant, not waterproof. Avoid transmitting antennas: (ham radios, emergency dispatch centers, airports, military bases, etc.) Electrical wires (utilities, cable, etc.) Vegetation is full of moisture and reduces signal.
