IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

9. If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the
appliance.
10. Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in
water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
11. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the
power plug with wet hands.
12. Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the
inside of the casing.
13. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to
the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities, or by those who lack experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision and instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
15. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
16. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the appliance on a level,
stable, clean and dry surface. Protect the appliance against heat and cold, dust, direct sunlight, moisture,
dripping and splashing water.
17. Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a danger or
injury.
18. Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord
around the appliance.
19. Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the
appliance can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet to completely
switch off the appliance. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.
20. Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
21. Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting the power plug.
22. To avoid electric shock, unplug before cleaning, assembling, removing parts or when not in use.
23. Consult your physician before giving fresh juice to children, especially infants.
24. Be sure to turn to O (OFF position) after each use of this appliance.
25. TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY: Never look inside the chute while the juicer is running. Especially when
using fruits or vegetables that contain pits. Shut down the juicer and wait for the blade to stop spinning.
Remove power cord from electrical outlet before removing the pits from the chute.
26. Make sure the lid is attached properly and securely locked before operating the juicer. Do not unfasten the
locking arms or remove the lid during operation.
27. To avoid risk of injury, keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils out of the juicer and away from its sharp
blade during operation.
28. DANGER OF HAND INJURY! Use caution when handling blade as blades are very sharp.
29. Do not put your hand or fingers into the feeding chute to push food or remove clogged food. Use the pusher
only. DANGER OF SERIOUS INJURY DUE TO THE ROTATING BLADE!
30. If juicer stops due to improper operation, or if there is excessive noise, turn power off and wait for blade to
stop spinning. Afterwards, unplug the juicer, disassemble it, and clean all components. Then reassemble
the juicer.
31. To reduce the risk of injury, never place blade on base without properly assembling the juicer.
32. Do not process hot foodstuffs.
33. Empty the pulp collector regularly.
34. Do not use the filter if it is damaged or deformed. Replace it with a new one.
