broad range of demanding soldering applications. A range of tips for different applications is available.

misuse of the tool or unauthorised alterations.

Safety Information

The following safety regulations must be observed
Specified Use
The mains cable must be plugged into a approved mains socket or adaptor.
Do not bypass any protective devices.
Check that the soldering tool is in good condition before connecting to the mains.
Do not overload your soldering tool, operate at the specified voltage
Do not use soldering tools that have insufficient power for your task.
Do not use the soldering tool for purposes for which it is not designed
Do not use the soldering tool in a damp or wet environment
Children and other unauthorised persons must stay clear of the work area.
When not in use, soldering tools should be stored out of the reach of children. When in use always use a
safety stand.
Do not use the power cable for purposes other than those for which it is intended
Protect the cable against heat, oil and sharp edges.
Never work on voltage carrying parts.
When in use frequently clean the tip with a water soaked cleaning sponge. Replace damaged or worn tips.
Frequent removal and cleaning of the tip prevents the tip from seizing up. Ensure that the solder tip is well
tinned.
Caution Risk of burning. Risk of Fire.
Even after switching off, or removal, the soldering tip still requires time to cool down. After soldering, the
soldered part and the soldering stand may still be hot.
Covering the iron or the safety stand causes a fire hazard. Always keep objects well away from the iron and the
safety stand
Protect yourself against burning from solder splashes. Wear suitable protective clothing and safety glasses.
Accessories
Use only with approved DURATOOL bits and accessories
This DURATOOL soldering station meets the basic safety requirements of Directives 2004/108/EC and 2006/95/EC.
