    It is the responsibility of the adult to educate the child and supervise the vehicles use. Read the following safety warnings to any child using the BMW X5 Ride-on: WARNING! Only use the vehicle when an adult is present to watch (supervise).

    Charging the Battery: Warnings WARNING! The following safety hazards may result in serious injury or death to the user of the BMW: Use of a battery or charger other than the supplied 6v rechargeable battery and • charger may cause a fire or explosion. Only use the supplied 6v rechargeable battery and charger with the vehicle.
  • Page 9 Always keep the charger housing closed. Important! Before using the BMW X5 for the time the battery needs to be charged for a full twenty-four hours (no more than thirty hours). Only an adult who has read and understands the following safety warnings should handle, charge or recharge of the battery (see Maintenance).

    Charging Instructions YOU MUST CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE THE FIRST USE! ONLY AN ADULT SHOULD HANDLE THE BATTERY AND CHARGER. To Charge the Battery: 1. Ensure the car is stopped and turned off. 2. Unlock and remove the seat. 3.

    Assemble the Front Wheels 1. Slide the washer (9) onto the front axle (A). 2. Slide the front wheel (10) onto the front axle. 3. Push on the center of the wheel (B) and snap it into place. 4. Gently pull the wheel to ensure that it is secure. If wheel comes loose, then repeat the first three steps.

    Assemble the Left Rear Wheel 1. Slide the washer (9) onto the rear wheel axle (A). 2. Slide the left rear wheel (11) onto the left rear axle. The side with the gear teeth (B) faces inward. 3. Push on the center of the wheel and snap it into place. 4.

    Assemble the Right Rear Wheel 1. Slide the rear wheel (11) with the gear teeth facing inward onto the rear axle (A). 2. Hold the rear axle with one hand and press the center of the wheel with another hand. Line up the gear teeth on the wheel with the grooves on the gear box (8).

    Attach the Steering Wheel 1. Remove the screw and nut from the steering wheel assembly (5) before attaching. 2. Plug the steering wheel connector (A) into the dashboard connector (B). 3. Insert the steering wheel (5) into the steering rod, and match the screw holes of the steering wheel and the steering rod.

    Attach the Mirrors 1. Remove the screw (A) and nut (B) from the mirror (3) before attaching 2. Insert the left side mirror (3) into the slot on the side of the body. Push it into the slot. 3. Insert the screw (A) and fasten the nut (B) to secure the mirror. 4.

    Attach the Seat 1. Position the seat (2) over the battery compartment 2. Click in the hook on the back of the chair into the empty slot on the car body. 3. Turn the thumb screw clockwise on the seat to lock it properly into position.

    Battery Removal Screw Battery Strap Battery (4) 1. Disconnect the battery connector (A) from the engine connector (B) . 2. Loosen and remove the screw. 3. Unfasten the battery (4) from the strap. 4. Remove the battery. Note: It is not necessary to remove the battery for charging. However, if the battery does not reach the outlet, it can be removed for charging.

    Operating Instructions • To turn on the vehicle, turn the power switch (A) to “I.” To turn off the vehicle, turn the power switch to “O.” • Press Manual/Remote control switch (B) to adjust the function controlled by manual/RC. • Controlled by manual, push the shifter (C) up to move forward. Push the shifter down to go in reverse.

    Attach the Remote Control batteries Battery cover Open the battery cover. Take out the old batteries and replace with new one. Then close the battery cover. Please change the battery following step above when the red light off on R/C found. WARNING! DO NOT mix old and new batteries.

    Remote Control Operation Coding switch Coding switch Matching the code control board, then use a clip or toothpick to press the code buttons at the motor control board and on the remote-control at least 5 seconds at the same time, you will see the LED indicator on the remote control blink- ing, when it stops blinking and turns to light on status, it matches suc- cessfully, you can release the button now.
  • Page 22 Remote Control Operation Left/Right lever Forward/Reverse lever Remote –control mode : Rider sits in the car, turns on the power switch, set the manual / remote- control switch at remote-control mode. Move the lever on the 2.4G remote-control to forward or reverse position, the car will go forward or reverse accordingly, when move the lever to left or right position, the car will go to the left or right.

    Maintenance Important Battery and Charger Information • Only an adult who has read and understands the safety warnings may handle and operate the battery and battery charger. Keep away from children. • Charge the battery for 24 hours before using the vehicle for the first time.
