Before first Use

Unpack the angle grinder support and check all parts for any damage in trans-
it. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic
bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children.

Assembly

The angle grinder support is supplied only partly assembled. Please assemble
the unit as follows:
Attaching the Pivoting Arm to the Base Plate
There are several sets of
mounting holes in the base
plate.
Depending on the layout of
your angle grinder select the
mounting holes with which the
cutting disc is as close as
possible to a position directly
above the right hand side slot
in the base plate. The pivoting
arm is equipped with slotted
holes
which
precisely adjust the position of
the arm.
Mounting the Gripping
Jaws
– Mounting the fixed Jaw and the moving Jaw –
1. Slide the square nuts (1) into the sheet metal rails from below (see draw-
ing on the next page!). The rail keeps the nuts from turning when the
screws are tightened.
2. First attach the cam (14) and the plastic disc (22) to the mobile jaw (15)
and connect them with the long hex screw (4) and the square nut (1) from
the underside of the base plate.
3. Position the cam (14) in such a way that the distance between the pivoting
point and the gripping surface of the jaw is as small as possible. After that
tighten the hex screw (4) until the jaw can just be moved.
