SERVICING INTERVALS CHECK
LIST
FIRST 25 HOURS
ENGINE
OIL
SUMP,
OIL COOLER
AND
OIL FILTER
--
After first 25
hours
of operation,
drain
engine
oil sump
and oil cooler
and
clean
both
the
oil suction
strainer
and
oil
pressure
screen.
If
an
optional
oil
filter
is
installed,
change
filter
element
at
this time.
Refill sump
with
straight
mineral
oil (non-detergent)
and
use until
a
total
of 50 hours
have accumu-
lated
or oil consumption
has
stabilized,
then
change
to
detergent
oil.
EACH 50 HOURS
BATTERY
--
Check
and service.
Check
oftener
(at
least
every
30 days)
if operating
in hot weather.
ENGINE
OIL SUMP, OIL COOLER AND OIL
FILTER
--
On airplanes
not
equipped
with
an
optional
oil filter,
drain
the
engine
oil sump
and oil
cooler
and clean
both
the
oil
suction
strainer
and
oil pressure
screen.
On
the
airplanes
which
have
an
optional
oil
filter,
the
oil
change
interval
may be extended
to
100-hour
intervals
providing
the
oil
filter
element
is
changed
at
50-hour
intervals.
Change engine
oil
at least every four
months
even
though
less
than
50 hours
have accumulated.
Reduce
intervals
for
prolonged
operation
in
dusty areas,
cold climates,
or when short
flights
and
long idle periods
result
in sludging
conditions.
CARBURETOR
AIR FILTER
--
Clean
or replace.
Under
extremely
dusty
conditions,
daily
maintenance
of
the
filter
is recommended.
NOSE GEAR TORQUE
LINKS
--
Lubricate.
When
operating
under
dusty
conditions,
more
frequent
lubrication
is recommended.
EACH 100 HOURS
SPARK
PLUGS
--
Clean,
test
and regap.
BRAKE
MASTER
CYLINDERS
--
Check
and
fill.
SHIMMY DAMPENER
--
Check and fill.
FUEL

Disassemble
