How to Correctly Install Barrel Nuts IMPORTANT: Press a barrel nut into the hole in the part, making sure the “+” pattern is facing IMPORTANT: Using a Phillips head screwdriver, turn the nut until the “+” is straight and the threaded hole is facing outward to accept the bolt.

STEP 2 - A Place to Rest Install 2 barrel nuts (part 2) into the right and left armrests (parts C and D). Refer to instructions on page 3 regarding how to properly install barrel nuts. Using 2 hex head bolts (part 1) attach the arm rests to the seat.

STEP 4 - Get Back Install 2 barrel nuts (part 2) into the left and right armrests. Using 2 hex head bolts (part 1), attach the back (part F) to the armrests. IMPORTANT: Be sure the Melissa & Doug logo on the seat back (part F) is visible.

STEP 6 - “Tray” Bien! You’ve Reached the End! Slide the tray (part H) into the slots in the armrests as shown. The slots have bumps on the bottom to keep the tray in place, so removing or inserting the tray may require a slight lift.
