Testing the sensor and doorbell
Temporarily position the sensor (B) and magnet
(C) where they will be mounted.
Move the magnet (C) away from the sensor (B)
to simulate a door being opened. The red LED
should flash and the doorbell (A) will sound
"Beep-Beep".
If the doorbell does not sound, move the
doorbell closer to the sensor and test again.
NOTE: Do not permanently mount the sensor until the
sensor and doorbell are working properly.

Preparing to mount the sensor
The maximum gap between the sensor (B) and the
magnet (C) is 1/2 in.. The arrows on the face of each
component must be aligned and facing each other.
Place the sensor (B) on the door frame and the
magnet (C) beside the sensor (B) and ensure
the arrows are aligned.
If the magnet (C) is recessed, use the
spacer (D) to ensure proper alignment.

Mounting the sensor
Use either the small screws (BB) or double-sided
tape (DD) to mount the sensor (B):
To mount with the small screws (BB), remove
the back of the sensor (B) by pushing in the
tab on the bottom with a small screwdriver.
Place the sensor back against the mounting
surface and mark the two screw holes.
Drill two 1/16 in. pilot holes.
Attach the sensor back with the small
screws (BB). Tighten securely and snap on the
front of the sensor (B).

When attaching the sensor (B) with double-
sided tape (DD), remove paper from both sides
of the double-sided tape (DD) and apply to a
clean surface.
