2. INSERTING THE BATTERIES The Easy Control remote requires 2 x AAA alkaline batteries (1.5V). Use the programming tool to press the release catch on the right hand side of the unit. The front of the unit can then be removed from the back casing revealing the circuit board.

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE EASY CONTROL UNIT Mode Selector Low-battery symbol. Indicates that it is necessary to change the batteries. Programme Mode Symbol. Comfort Mode Symbol. Off Mode Symbol. Economy Mode Symbol. Frost Protection Mode Symbol. LCD Screen. Transmit Button to send programme or required mode to heater Day of the week.
: the Frost Protection mode (7) is displayed. • Room Temperature: In this mode the Easy Control remote becomes a thermometer displaying the current room temperature in ºC Note: In all operating modes except Room Temperature the time and day are dispayed as well as the symbols.

Transmit button (9) it will switch to standby and will not produce heat whatever the room temperature. The heater will still be able to receive orders from the Easy Control remote allowing other modes such as comfort to be set.

When sending information to the heater the Easy Control must be pointed towards the control end of the heater. No objects should be between the Easy Control and the heater. Once the heater is correctly installed and connected, switch on the radiator by the main switch.

Economy mode. 8. RESET OF THE EASY CONTROL UNIT If the Easy Control fails to work properly, it can be reset in the follwoing way: Simultaneously press the Transmit button (9) and the Reset Button which is located between the batteries (it is necessary to remove the back cover of the control unit).
