1. SCOPE OF DELIVERY 
The neck rest is delivered com-
pletely assembled. The following 
illustration shows its components 
in addition to the assembled 
headrest.

2. INSTALLING OPTIONS 
The contour of the neck rest is designed 
ergonomically. It can be attached to all 
seats from the RECARO Exo portfolio, 
across all models. 
There are two installing options, depend-
ing on different body sizes: Both provide 
optimum support in the neck area and help 
to relieve the neck muscles 
1. Standard position: foam part in  
delivery positionl
2. Turned position: foam part turned 
by 180°, optimal for use from a height 
of 1.85 m. For details on turning the 
foam part: see chapter 3.

3. INSTALLING AND REMOVING 
3.1   P ush the neck rest to the lowest position. 
3.2   P lace the holding plate on the arched gap in the backrest of your RECARO Exo and 
push the holding plate in. Then press the neck rest firmly into the backrest to comple-
te full contact between neck rest and backrest.
3.3   S elect the ideal support zone for you by moving the neck rest up or down. 
3.4 For disassembly, push the neck rest to the highest position. To remove the neck rest 
from the backrest, grasp it with both hands and pull it slowly upwards and out.

4. CHANGE STANDARD/TURNED POSITION 
4.1 Push the holding plate on the back of the neck rest to the lowest position. 
4.2 Push the upper operating button inwards and move the holding plate down at the 
same time. The holding plate is now released from the neck support. 
4.3 Turn the holding plate by 180°. 
4.4 Insert the holding plate into the guide rail of the foam plate again. 
4.5 To change from the turned position to the standard position repeat steps 4.1 to 4.5
