    METER MODE (cont.) 3.6 Emergency Credit If the prepaid credit is below a given limit or the meter has gone into debt, an “Emergency Credit” facility may be invoked by pressing the RED button marked emergency credit. The meter operation whilst in emergency credit is explained in the following subsections.

Each press of the RED button for less than 3 seconds will move the cursor one place through the programmable setting of the displayed parameter. To store the new value press the RED button for greater than 3 seconds, then on releasing the RED button the next parameter for programming will be displayed.
