Connecting/Disconnecting the S-240P

Never connect the S-240P's DC OUTPUT plug to a connector (Speakon) on a speaker,
WARNING
amplifier, or other such equipment.
Connect the DC OUTPUT plug on the S-240P only to the EXT. POWER DC INPUT connector on the S-4000S or S-4000H or to the included
DC OUTPUT conversion cable. Even though the connector may have the same shape as other connectors of the type, never connect this to
connectors (Speakon) installed in speakers or amps or similar connectors.
5 Using the S-240P when it is connected to speakers will short the S-240P's power supply output, activating the S-240P's output short-circuit
protection circuitry.
5 Using the S-240P when it is connected to amplifier will short the amplifier's power supply output, activating the amplifier's output short-
circuit protection circuitry.

* To prevent malfunction and equipment failure, always turn down the volume, and turn off all the units before making any connections.

Connecting to an S-4000S/S-4000H

Connect the DC OUTPUT plug on the S-240P to the S-4000S or S-4000H.
Connecting

Connect the DC OUTPUT plug to the EXT. POWER DC
INPUT on the S-4000S or S-4000H.

Rotate the DC OUTPUT plug clockwise until a distinct
click is heard.
Disconnecting

Pull and continue to hold out the DC OUTPUT plug's lock
switch while rotating the plug counterclockwise.
Lock switch

Disconnect the DC OUTPUT plug from the EXT. POWER DC
INPUT on the S-4000S or S-4000H.
