As a further measure against power-supply trouble, we recommend connecting the device you’re using and the S-240P to different power sources. Connect each power plug to a separate power outlet. Using separate sources to supply power ensures that if either the S-240P or the device you’re using loses power, system operation can continue without interruption as long as the other unit continues to receive power. -

Preparing the Power Supply Using the AC Cord Clamp Connecting AC Power Use the power cord clamp to secure the power cord plug. NOTE Be sure to use the included power cord for connecting the power supply. Raise the power cord clamp and plug the included power cord into the AC IN connector on the rear panel. -

Connect the DC OUTPUT plug on the S-240P only to the EXT. POWER DC INPUT connector on the S-4000S or S-4000H or to the included DC OUTPUT conversion cable. Even though the connector may have the same shape as other connectors of the type, never connect this to connectors (Speakon) installed in speakers or amps or similar connectors. -
