Depending on many factors such as the processing capability of the host and peripheral devices, file
attributes, and other factors related to system configuration and operating environments, the actual transfer
rate using the various USB connectors on this device will vary and will be slower than the data rate listed
below for each corresponding device.

Connect to ac power with the accompanying ac power adapter and power cord.
Connect to your computer with the accompanying Thunderbolt 3 cable.
Connect to an external display with a DisplayPort cable.
Connect to an external display with a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)
cable.
• When the dock is connected to ac power (no matter the dock is connected to your
computer or not), charge a USB-compatible device with the output voltage and
current of up to 5 V and 3 A.
• Connect a USB-compatible device to transfer data at USB 3.2 speed, up to 5 Gbps.
Connect to a LAN with an Ethernet cable.
Connect to a USB-C compatible device to transfer data at USB 3.2 speed, up to 10
Gbps.
Lock the dock to a desk, table, or other fixture through a compatible security cable
lock.
Note: The slot supports cable locks that conform to the Kensington MiniSaver® lock
standards using Cleat™ locking technology.
Connect to a headphone or a headset with a 3.5-mm (0.14-inch) and 4-pole plug.
Note: Ensure that the dock is the default audio device of your computer. See "Use
audio" in your computer User Guide.
Connect to a USB-compatible device to transfer data at USB 3.2 speed, up to 5 Gbps.
