PARTS AND HARDWARE
Your 13 Watt Cordless Fluorescent Work Light comes complete
with all parts and cords.
 1 Work Light (1)
 One 13 Watt Fluorescent Bulb (2) (Installed)
 One 7.2 Volt Rechargeable NiMH Battery Pack (3)
 One 6ft 18/2 120 Volt AC Power Cord (4)
 One Hang Hook (9) (Installed)
CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
Fully charge the battery before the first use. If the battery is new or has been unused for
several months, several charge and discharge cycles may be needed to reach full battery
capacity. To reach maximum performance, run the light to completely discharge the
battery and then recharge. Each charge cycle will extend the operation time until
maximum capacity is achieved. The charge time for maximum capacity is approximately
1 hour.
 Use only the Bayco 7.2 volt rechargeable NiMH battery pack (3)
 To recharge, plug 6ft 18/2 120 Volt AC Power Cord (4) into the
AC receptacle on the lamp and connect to 120 volt power
supply. (Charge at temperatures between 50ºF and 105ºF.)
 During charging the red indicator light (7) on the lamp will stay
on until the pack is fully charged. At full charge, the green
indicator light (6) will illuminate.
 Run the lamp in between battery charges.
Charging times may vary depending on the charge in the battery at the time charging
begins. Run the lamp between charges. Do not attempt to continually recharge or
overcharge the battery pack, battery life will be shortened.
CAUTIONS
 DO NOT allow anything to cover the lamp while operating or during charging.
 DO NOT charge a hot battery pack. Allow the battery pack to cool down before
recharging.
 DO NOT allow the two positive (+) and negative (-) contacts of the battery to touch
each other.
 Unplug the lamp from the power source once charging is complete.
 It is normal for the lamp to become warm while charging.
TIPS TO EXTEND BATTERY LIFE
The work light NiMH internal battery pack does not have a memory effect. Charging the
work light often helps extend its useful life.
 A new work light or one that has not been used for a long period of time may not
accept a full charge initially. This is normal and does not indicate a problem. Fully
discharge and then charge the unit several times to condition the battery pack for full
capacity. As the battery pack capacity increases the charge time shortens.
 Charge the unit after each use, whether the work light is fully discharged or not.
 Store the work light at room temperature
