Installation Requirements – The LNK-AL15 survivor locator light can be installed on aviation life jackets, life rafts,
and lifeboats which are carried by airplanes. The light should be firmly mounted on the device and the upper
hemisphere of the light should be clearly seen in the 360⁰ horizontal direction without any obstacle. The battery pack
should also be firmly installed on the device and the installation position must ensure that the battery pack will be
immersed in water when the floating device drops in water.
The following images depict a life jacket installation example. Figure 1 shows the installation of the locator light.
Figure 2 shows the installation of the battery pack (the image on the far right shows the battery pack and the surface
to which it is going to be attached, the middle image and the image on the far left show different profiles of the
battery pack attached to the applicable surface). Figure 3 shows the complete installation scenario.

STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
The LNK-AL15 should be stored in a clean and liquid free environment. The storage temperature should be within -
30⁰C ~ +65⁰C (-22⁰F ~ +149⁰F) and the environment humidity should be less than 80%. The product should remain
in the original packaging until installation occurs.
SERVICE LIFE
The LNK-AL15 adopts a reserve battery. The service life of the light remains indefinite assuming the above storage
requirements are met and as long as the battery pack has not come into contact with water.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is warranted against factory defect in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase or
receipt as a gift. During the warranty period ACR Electronics, Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the unit at no cost to you for
labor, materials or return transportation. For further assistance please contact our Technical Service Department.
This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse, or as a result of service or modification by
other than the factory. Except as otherwise expressly stated above, the COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
