8. Cut the insulating material to size and check whether the insulating material covers the sensor. Attach the insulating
material, as shown, around the sensor on the outlet pipe (see Fig. 9). Use the two provided cable ties for this pur-
pose. Cut of the excess ends of the cable ties.
9. After installing the hot water auxiliary heater, adjust the settings in the commissioning assistant. For this purpose,
please refer to corresponding chapter in the installation and operating instructions for the respective AIR1 ventila-
tion unit.

2 .1 .2 Hot water auxiliary heater for AIR1 XH units (1000, 1500, 2500)

The AIR1 unit must be fully isolated from the mains power supply before all maintenance and installation work
and opening the terminal compartment! The electrical connections must be carried out in accordance with the
following wiring diagrams and must only be carried out by qualified electricians . The electrical connection must
be fully isolated until the final assembly!
Open the latch and turn the handles counter clockwise to open the doors (Fig. 10).
1. Remove plugs and position the heating register (see Fig. 11).
