Selecting the Frequency Range

With the frequency switch you can select the frequency range of the sound
waves.

The frequency range to be used for best result depends on different
factors. Check all frequencies in order to achieve best results for the
intended purposes.
When selecting the 17 kHz sound waves, it might be possible that humans
who are keen-eared can hear this sound. If these persons stay for long
time in the protecting area, switch the animal repeller to one of the other
frequency ranges.

Mounting the Ultrasonic Animal Repeller

The unit comes with a mounting plate and a pivot base.
You can mount the pivot base on the bottom side of the housing or on the
mounting plate. For this, slide the pivot base between both bars.
On the backside of the battery compartment and the housing you will find
four mounting holes. You can also mount the pivot base on the backside of
the unit. For mounting, use screws with max. 10 mm length and max. 3
mm width.
The mounting plate can be fastened on a wall, on a wooden post, even on
the ceiling. In combination with the pivot base the unit can be tilted to all
directions in order to align the desired protecting area.

Maintenance and Cleaning

For cleaning the housing, use a moistened cloth only. Do not immerse the
unit into water!
Do not use aggressive chemicals or benzene for cleaning.
