This is due to the lack of damping and to the detection characteristics of the particular meter. The HI-1801 is designed to comply with the requirements of the US Government criteria for testing microwave ovens. 1801 Manual Page — 15 GETTING READY Introduction There are certain things that should be taken care of before testing your microwave oven.
