    Safety can occur. Therefore, even if you only notice slight redness, please stop using the chest strap immediately. In this case we would recommend that you visit a dermatologist. Electromagnetic compatibility Very strong magnetic fields (e.g. transformers) must be avoided otherwise variations in the time measurement and position determination can occur.

    Safety charged in another way, it can lead to overheating, explosion or fire. Do not charge the rechargeable battery of the Ski watch  near heat sources or in the car in the case of strong sunlight. The high temperature will lead to the battery being damaged and can lead to overheating, explosion and fire.

    Start up Charging the rechargeable battery of the Ski watch The Ski watch has a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Polymer- rechargeable battery. The service life of the rechargeable battery when using GPS is approx. 12 hours, in time mode approx. 1 year. Charge this for at least 3 hours, before the first use of the Ski watch.

    General about GPS reception Adjust the elastic belt so that the sensors fit firmly on the chest, underneath the chest muscles. Place the chest strap around the chest in such a way, that it fits below the chest muscle on men and below the breasts on women. In order to guarantee good contact with the skin, you must dampen the contacts of the sensors or use an ECG gel (available from specialist medical shops).
