OSCILLATOR COILS
The oscillator coils are housed in metal cans to
shield them from interaction with one another.
Notice that the coils can be mounted only one
way, with the case tabs going though the larger
holes in the pattern and the solder pins going
through the five smaller holes. The solder pins
may need to be straightened slightly to align with
the holes. Push the part into place until the
shoulder of the mounting tab rests on the surface
of the circuit board. Solder all five solder pins and
also bend the mounting tabs over on the conduc-
tors side of the board and solder one of them to
the conductor pad.
