Remove any protective covers. Make sure that sensitive objects are not
damaged once a sawblade is inserted. Ensure that the safety switch is
not pressed.
When using the reciprocating saw, hold the handle firmly to operate the
tool properly. The reciprocating saw is now ready for use.
To start the device, press the "safety switch" and thereby unlock the
"ON/OFF switch". Now press the "ON/OFF switch" gently to start the
saw.
The saw has to be unlocked, otherwise it will not switch on.
CAUTION!
• Always switch off the device before inserting or removing
the battery. Hold the device firmly while doing so!
• Do not cover the air vents or the intake opening!
• Always slide the battery onto the device until it clicks into
place. If the battery does not slide without any resistance on
the battery guide bar, then it is not properly aligned.
• Before inserting the new battery, allow the device to rest
for at least 15 minutes after using it continuously and dis-
charging the battery.
• Always grip the device firmly! Always ensure secure footing
when using the device!
